Refund Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
This policy covers purchases made for Whisp through composer1.com, operated by Bishal Banerjee. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Try it free first
Whisp has a free tier that runs the on-device Apple voice, and paid plans add cloud and studio voices on top. We’d rather you find out the app suits you before paying, so nothing about the free tier expires or requires a card.
Subscriptions
If a subscription isn’t right for you, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we’ll refund it in full. This applies to your first payment on a new plan.
You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Renewal charges are not automatically refunded once the new period has started and been used, but if a renewal took you by surprise, tell us — we will look at it fairly rather than hide behind this paragraph.
Prepaid credits
Credits bought for API usage do not expire. Unused credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase, for the unused portion.
Credits already consumed by API calls cannot be refunded, because those calls incurred real costs with our model and voice providers at the moment they ran. Your usage is metered per call and visible in your account, so you can always see exactly what was spent and what remains.
Things we always refund
- Duplicate or accidental charges.
- Charges you did not authorise.
- A period during which the service was unavailable through our fault.
- A paid feature that did not work as described and that we could not fix for you.
How to request a refund
Email support@composer1.com from the address on your account, with the approximate date of the charge. You don’t need to justify yourself — “it isn’t for me” is a complete reason.
We aim to reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Payment processors
Payments are handled by our payment processors, who may also apply their own buyer protection terms to the transaction. Where a processor acts as merchant of record for your purchase, its refund terms apply in addition to this policy — whichever is more favourable to you.
