composer1.com uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to work. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking and no session recording, so there’s no cookie banner to click through.
Needed to sign you in
Clerk, our sign-in provider, sets cookies such as __session and __client_uat to keep you signed in and protect your account. Without them you can’t sign in.
Remembering your settings
The site keeps a few small values in your browser’s local storage, such as your theme, your dashboard layout and whether you prefer reduced motion, and a temporary token when you open a Listen on phone link. They never leave your browser except to make that feature work.
Payments
When you pay, Razorpay’s checkout loads on the page and may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and to complete the payment, under Razorpay’s privacy policy.
Analytics
The site has product analytics (PostHog) built in but switched off. It only runs if you agree to it, and it never records your screen or what you type. If we ever ask for that consent, you’ll be able to withdraw it just as easily.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the sign-in cookies will sign you out of the website; the Mac app isn’t affected.
