I refactored the auth flow to use short-lived JWTs with refresh-token rotation, moved rate limiting to the edge, and removed the legacy login endpoint. The main risk is any client still calling it, so ship a deprecation notice first… The remaining work is tracked in the migration doc, and staging has been green since Tuesday across all six services.

I refactored the authentication flow to use short-lived access tokens with refresh-token rotation, moved the rate limiter from the app layer to the edge, and removed the deprecated /login endpoint in favor of /session. All 214 tests pass. The one migration risk is any mobile client still calling /login directly — ship a deprecation header for two releases first. Staging has been green since Tuesday across all six services.

Circling back on the launch — after the sync we've decided to push the date by a week to the 14th so QA has runway. Marketing still needs final hero copy from you by Thursday EOD, legal has signed off on the updated terms, and finance approved the new pricing tiers. The only thing blocking us on your side is a thumbs-up on the pricing page before Wednesday.

We show that small, task-specialized fine-tunes consistently outperform much larger general-purpose models on narrow classification and extraction tasks, at roughly a fortieth of the inference cost. Performance is highly sensitive to data quality: below approximately one thousand clean, well-labeled examples, accuracy degrades sharply and the advantage disappears. We release the training recipe and evaluation suite.

How it works

01

Select

Highlight the wall of text your AI just produced — in any app, any browser, any chat.

02

Double-tap

One gesture, no window switching. Wispr Back grabs the selection and starts thinking in about a second.

03

Listen

A spoken summary — as brief or thorough as you like. When it ends, your cursor lands back in the chat, ready for you to dictate a reply.

The inverse of dictation: speech-to-text tools turn your voice into words. Wispr Back turns their words back into voice.

Voices

Pick who reads to you.

Seven voices, tuned and curated. No model menus, no API keys, no settings homework — a voice is a voice.

Access

Invite-only, for now.

Wispr Back is letting people in gradually. Install the app and try the built-in demo, then request an invite — each one is approved personally.
